About

Who we are, and whose we are

We are a Disciples of Christ congregation on Main Street in Fairview: a church of open communion, open minds, and an open door.

What We Believe

No creed but Christ

As a Disciples of Christ congregation, we hold to the simple confession that Jesus is the Christ, and we leave room for honest questions about everything else. We gather at the Lord’s table every week and trust each person to read scripture with their own conscience.

Communion here is open; you do not need to be a member, or certain of anything, to be welcome at the table.

Our Worship

Hymns, scripture, and the table

Worship is unhurried and familiar: congregational hymns, readings from both testaments, a sermon that takes the text seriously, and communion shared every Sunday. The service lasts about an hour.
