Cookie Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Tivan Prints FZE LLC, doing business as Faith Essentials ("Faith Essentials," "we," "us," or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at https://faithessentials.shop, including the website designs you can preview there (the "Website"). It explains what these technologies are, which ones the Website uses and why, and how you can control them.
The short version: we set no cookies of our own, and we use no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies on the Website are set by our payment processor on the checkout page, to prevent fraud, and by our sign-in provider when a member of our staff signs in.
Some of these cookies can collect information that is personal information, or becomes personal information when combined with other information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that a website places on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. Websites use them to work, to work more efficiently, and to remember information between pages or visits.
Cookies set by the owner of the website you are visiting (in this case, Faith Essentials) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by anyone else are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies let another company provide a feature on the website, such as a payment form, and that company can recognize your device both on the website in question and on other websites that use its services.
Why do we use cookies?
We do not set cookies ourselves. The cookies on the Website are set by the companies that provide two of its features, and both are what are called "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies: the feature they belong to cannot work properly without them.
- Payments. When you open our checkout page, Stripe, our payment processor, sets cookies to help detect and prevent fraudulent payments. Stripe's payment form also uses hCaptcha, a security service, to tell real people apart from automated software, and hCaptcha and its provider Cloudflare set cookies for that purpose. These cookies are set only on the checkout page.
- Staff sign-in. When a member of our staff signs in to our internal tools, Neon, our sign-in provider, sets cookies to keep them signed in. Visitors never sign in and never receive these cookies.
We do not use cookies to analyze how visitors use the Website, to track you across other websites, or to show you advertising.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Because every cookie on the Website is strictly necessary for the feature it belongs to, we do not show a cookie banner or offer a preference center. You can still refuse or delete any cookie through your web browser's settings, described in the next section. If you block the payment cookies, you can still browse the Website, but the payment form on the checkout page may not work.
The cookies used on the Website, who sets them and what each one is for are listed in the table below.
If you pay with a digital wallet such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, that service may use its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Stripe's use of personal information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
How can I control cookies on my browser?
Each browser lets you refuse or delete cookies in its own way, so the best guide is your browser's help pages. These links explain how in the most popular browsers:
What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not the only way a website can recognize or track visitors. Some websites and emails use web beacons (also called "tracking pixels" or "clear GIFs"): tiny images that report when a page or an email has been opened. We do not use web beacons, on the Website or in our emails. Our emails contain no tracking pixels, and we do not track whether you open them.
The Website does use the following technologies, none of which are cookies:
- Browser storage for the current tab. The Website keeps some information in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab: the details of the church shown in a design preview, so its pages load quickly; which design you last opened, so returning to our home page takes you back to it; and your order details after you pay, so the confirmation page can show them. None of this is sent to us. A design preview made for your church also stores a random identifier for the tab, which is sent with the visit record described next, so that several pages viewed in one sitting count as one visit. The checkout stores a random identifier for the tab as well, which is sent only with the problem reports described below, so that the reports from one checkout can be read together.
- Records of preview visits. If we have sent you a link to a design filled with your church's details, opening that link tells our server that the preview was viewed: which page, when, the type of browser and device, the network you connected from, and your approximate city, which is worked out from your IP address. We use this to know whether a church has looked at the design we prepared for it. It uses no cookies, and we do not store your IP address. Visits to the Website without such a link are not recorded.
- Checkout problem reports. If something goes wrong while you are paying, or while you fill in the form that follows, the checkout page tells our server what failed: the page and the step, the error, the design you were buying, the type of browser and device, and your country, which is worked out from your IP address. We use this to find and fix problems with the checkout. It never includes your name, email address, postal address or card details. It uses no cookies, and we do not store your IP address.
- Video players. Some design previews include a sermon video from YouTube, shown in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube's player keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage, on YouTube's own domain, when the page loads. It may set cookies if you play the video, under Google's Privacy Policy.
- Maps. The Contact page of each design preview shows a map from OpenStreetMap. It sets no cookies.
Do you serve targeted advertising?
No. We do not show advertising on the Website, and we do not allow any third party to place cookies or other technologies on the Website for advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We will update this Cookie Policy when the cookies we use change, or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, such as one for analytics, we will update this policy before we start using it, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
The date at the top of this Cookie Policy shows when it was last updated.
